Protein Brownies

Recipe Yield: makes 6 individual brownie bites

Ingredients

- 1 + 1/2 cup True Taste Cafe "Just Add Water" Vanilla Protein Waffle/Pancake dry mix 

- 1/4 cup cacao powder

- 1/4 cup melted butter or coconut oil 

- 3 dates soaked in 3/4 cup hot water 

- 1 TBSP maple syrup  

Directions 

  1. Place 3 dates in 3/4 cup hot water to soak for 5 minutes then blend until smooth
  2. melt butter or coconut oil 
  3. mix all ingredients thoroughly (best results with a high speed mixer) 
  4. measure 1/4 cup batter portions into mini muffin trays or silicone brownie bites tray ( this is the one i use)   
  5. bake at 325 for 12 - 14 minutes. 
  6. Let cool in trays for 5 minutes then remove brownies from tray and cool on wire rack for 15 minutes 
  7. Once completely cooled (1 hour after baking) store in an airtight container on the counter or in the fridge for up to 5 days
