Chocolate Chip Cookies

Recipe Yield : makes 8 cookies

Ingredients

- 1 + 1/4 cup True Taste Cafe Buttery or Vanilla Protein "Just Add Water" dry mix 

- 1/4 cup coconut sugar 

- 1/4 cup chocolate chips 

- 1/2 cup butter or coconut oil

- 1 egg

- 1 tsp vanilla extract  

Directions 

  1. Mix all dry ingredients except chocolate chips 
  2. Melt butter or coconut oil 
  3. Mix all wet ingredients 
  4. Combine wet ingredients into dry ingredients 
  5. Fold in chocolate chips 
  6. Cover the batter and let sit in the fridge for 10 - 15 minutes 
  7. Remove batter from the fridge and portion out cookies (2 tbsp batter/cookie) on a baking sheet - the cookies spread so make sure you leave enough room between cookies
  8. Bake at 350 C for 8 minutes 
  9. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet out of the oven for 5 minutes then transfer to wire cooling rack 
  10. Let cookies cool on the wire cooling rack for 15 minutes before eating 
  11. Once completely cooled (1 hour after baking) store in an airtight container . If you find moisture is accumulating in your container place a paper towel in the bottom (this helps soak up any extra moisture) 
  12. Keep on the counter or in the fridge for up to 5 days
